So Funny! Happy Halloween!

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Dax is such a boy! He was singing "head, shoulders, knees, and toes" and when he got to his face he said, "eyes, ears, mouth, BOOGAS!"

Already Halloween Time

We had our first little Halloween party with some friends from our old neighborhood. Everyone was a good sport and wore costumes. I tried to decorate a bit but my spider webs did not turn out nearly as cool as they did in my head. It's a lot harder than it looks! So funny that all four of us girls are pregnant!

The guys hung out in one room to chat, the girls in another to chat, and the kids were all over the place having fun with toys. The little dragon there is Dax. (I love it!)

Of course once a movie was put on the kids were mesmerized!

We had a perfect fall meal; soup in bread bowls, salad, apple cider, and sugar cookies.... YUM!

Thanks for taking pictures Alisa! I'm such a slacker in that department! It's always fun to see you guys!

baby baby and belly

This was me and my sisters a month ago...

This is us now... Heather had a little girl named Leah on Sept. 26th! Shelby had a little boy named Nash on Oct. 2nd! Yeah, I have a new niece and nephew! They're both so beautiful and I love how tiny they are! As you can see my belly is growing at an exceptional rate, although we shouldn't be expecting another baby in this family until after the New Year!

Dax 2 year pictures

My Friend Sarah took the most amazing pictures of Dax! These are only a few of the shots she got. How am I ever going to decide which ones to frame?!!!

Sarah, seriously impressive for your first client! They couldn't have been any better!

Cruisin'

We just got back from a cruise and I think I've doubled in size! The cruise went to Cabo and Encinata Mexico. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures, how lame are we? We brought our camera and it stayed in the safe the whole time! We ate, relaxed, ate, slept, ate, and read all day everyday; now that's a vacation! Being pregnant, the only excursions they would allow me to do were the lame old people bus tours. I wasn't too interested in that so I ended up reading 3 books instead! (Quick reads like, "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks, "Sundays at Tiffany's" and "Cross" by James Patterson.) Brandon was able to go scuba diving in Cabo and got to see some seals, seahorses and more fish in any one area than he's seen before. I missed being in the ocean but I'm already looking forward to next years Maui trip where I'll get lots of ocean time! I sure do love a vacation but I definitely missed my little guy this time! It was so great to get home and see Dax!
