Breaking Dawn

So, is anyone else anxiously awaiting Breaking Dawn of the Twilight series?! I plan on getting it Saturday and reading every chance I get. I know there are an awful lot of opinions out there, including some of you strange Jacob lovers, but I also have my opinions. I know you might not all agree with me here, but I kind of don't care. Here are my top concerns... I really would love to have some closure, I would love Bella to become a vampire and soon so we can see how it all goes as one, I would love her and Edward to get married and FULLY enjoy being married, if you know what I mean, and I would love to read it without too much frustration! Let's hope we get ourselves a happy ending!

John Mayer!

I feel like the luckiest person ever! I got to go to the John Mayer concert, and let me tell you, it was awesome! My friend Sarah got us amazing seats! 3rd row, front and center baby! I kind of felt like it was a private concert... until I turned around to see the thousands of people behind me! Colbie Caillet went on before JM. I love her. She has such great songs!

John Mayer played for almost 2 hours and it was just soooooo good! We were so close, we could see all the crazy funny faces that he makes, which was happening quite constantly!

He used a different guitar for every song! So, I just realized that electric guitars really do have whammy bars... just a little reminder that I'm a bit retarded! It was pretty cool to see him rock!

Here's us girls! Anya, Lindsay, Sarah, and I. Thank you so much Sarah! She also took the amazing pictures of the concert!

I had to share that amazing experience, but feel free to still share memories on the previous post!

Remember When...

I guess everyone is going to have to play this game! Here are the directions: ................................................................................. 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together, or one of the first memories you have of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! ................................................................................. 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. ..................................................................................... Keep in mind that many people read this.... nothing too revealing or embarrassing please! =)

AAAAANTS!

So gross! Awhile ago we noticed that our front porch was covered in ants! Then we also noticed some down on our driveway in a couple of places. I think our house might just be on top of the largest ant colony ever. I put out a bunch of poison trap things and after a week there was no change. So I took a trip down to Home Depot and got some super strength and killing powder. The next morning, this is what it looked like. So gross but so great that they're all dead! Even the morning after we had swept them all away, we had just as many dead ones. Finally we should be able to control this ant invasion! Lucky for us, there hasn't been any inside!

Poison

For those of you who thought I was kidding about the Poison Concert, you thought wrong! It was Thursday night and it was awesome! It was super loud and I might have to admit that CeCe didn't need to rock his electric guitar quite so much, and they really should've had a better opening band. (who the heck is Dokken?) Besides that it was great! Brandon was such a good sport and came with me, even though he would've rather been playing Halo, or doing anything else for that matter! (I love you sweetie, you take such good care of me!) The concert definitely had an interesting crowd! There was plenty of long/ big hair, big boobs, ripped jeans, decorative t-shirts, white trash, BEER DRINKING people! As I looked around at the variety, I realized that I just didn't seem to fit in. But when I got chills to hear "Ride the Wind", and "Fallen Angel", and when I could sing every single word to "Every Rose has it's Thorn", and "Unskinny Bop", I thought, "maybe I do fit in!" Hmmmm, what does that say about me?! Maybe my husband is right and I do have a bit of rocker chick in me!

St. George

We did a girls/ kids week in St. George, my dad was included during the last half too. If you're wondering why we would want to go to St. George in that kind of heat, we love it! I think the reason I like it so much is that I know I won't get cold. Brandon 100% disagrees with me on that one, and that's part of the reason the boys stayed home.
We were able to play at the playground in the mornings before the slides got too hot.
It was perfect pool weather!
We went to the pool once or twice a day and loved it!
Dax sure didn't have much fear of the water... good and bad thing!
Here's the crew, minus my mom who did the picture taking. (Thanks Mom!)

Dax couldn't get enough of "ring-a-round-the-rosies", and "motorboat". A couple of times I let him free fall after throwing him up in the air and he sunk like a rock! I had to reach down near the bottom to bring him back up. But after being under for a few seconds he would still come up and say, "on, on!" ("On" to Dax means more, or that he wants something. Even when he wants me to read or sing to him he says, "on! on!" It's so cute I never correct him.)

A small panic attack may have occurred after we found ourselves locked out of the condo after coming back from the pool. The thought of not getting any food or water for any amount of time for pregnant women and kids is quite unnerving! Not to worry it didn't last too long, my mom saved us!

My cute nieces and nephew. Dax was probably taking a nap or off playing by himself.

The pregnant girls needed plenty of rest time on the couch.

Thanks Mom and Dad, we had a great time! It wouldn't have been the same without either of you amazing sisters and your cute kids, I'm glad we could all be there!
