MWC CHAMPS! BCS BOUND!

So, my husband wants to go to the Utah Bowl game. The game would most likely be at the first of the year just before baby girl is due to arrive. Sure, he'll probably make it back in time for the delivery, in fact I could very well have her before he were to leave. I'm not lettting him risk it!

NKOTB!!!

I went to the New Kids On The Block concert this weekend with my sister Shelby. Oh yes I did! It was fun to go and they actually put on a really good performance. I was impressed that they were moving so well still! They sang all my favorite songs and I happen to still know most of the words! The unfortunate thing was that I lacked the passion I felt for them so many years ago. I didn't wish that I could become Joeys girlfriend (although he was the best looking on of the bunch, fo sho!), or that Donny would see me and want me like I did him, or even that I could hear that high falsetto voice every day. It also made me feel old because there was a moment when Donny was asking the crowd if they wanted to go home and go to bed, and I kind of did! I just couldn't leave though until they sang "Step by Step" and "Hangin Tough". We of course stayed for the whole thing and we sure did rock that arm swing! I think there's just something special about being 10 and being in love with a couple of rock stars! It just doesn't last forever.

What NOT to say to a pregnant woman...

These things have actually been said to me during this or my last pregnancy and... seriously!?

  • "Are you tired?" (pretty much everyday from the same person at work)
  • "You just look like you need to be doing some more sit-ups." (she knew I was pregnant)
  • "You're at that stage that you don't look pregnant you just look fat." (I know, but do you really need to tell me that?!)
  • "I can tell you're starting to gain weight, I can see it in your face."
  • "Hey Chunky!"
  • "I really can't believe how big you're getting. (me neither.)
  • The scale told me, "11 lbs in 6 weeks" (awesome!)
  • Most recently at the grocery store; "Are you having twins? Well you must be due tomorrow!"

I also love how any stranger can just start talking to you and giving you their opinions! Don't people ever think? Have some even seen a pregnant woman before? It's all good though. It's a good thing I'm not one to get offended, it's just funny to talk about because it sounds really bad! I'm sure I have much more to come in the next 8 weeks!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year. We were hoping Dax loved trick-or-treating so he could hook mom and dad up with some free candy. Unfortunately he didn't care at all about it. But the good thing was that we went to Grandmas neighborhood truck-or-treat where everyone loaded his bucket full of the good stuff. Too bad that he got bubbles at one of the first trunks because all he wanted to do was play with them, and maybe have a sucker. I guess again we're saying, "maybe next year he'll like it!" At least he was a really cute dinosaur, or was it a dragon?
Dax was hilarious when he took off running with that tail wagging behind!
And, I just love the little squat he always does, but it was extra cute as a dinosaur! Sexy Brandon decided not to dress up this year, just take off his shirt and show off his muscles and tattoos... that's fine with me baby!
A couple days before Halloween I went and saw "Thriller" with my mom and mother in law. Have you seen it? It's fabulous! My friend who works at Kingsbury hooked us up and put us on the 2nd row! Couldn't beat that! Except you can't act scared at all or you'll be a huge target for the zombies and chain saw dudes!
