Dax started walking! The first day he took six steps and I was so excited for him I thought I would burst! ( you moms out there know what I'm talking about) Every day he has gotten better and better. I'm still shocked sometimes to see him standing in the middle of the floor all by himself. He's so much fun :)

So the Utes haven't had a great start to their season. Already 4 major players are out with injuries (some even for the whole year), they've got a pretty tough schedule, and they have GOT to do something about that offense! I still have hope for them though. We love going to the games and every year we get to move just a little closer. This year we jumped from row 54 to 49! Sweet! We're up there and we sure get a leg workout climbing those stairs. I guess if the Utes continue to do poorly we have an even better chance of moving closer. We're thinking long term. GO UTES!

When Dax was so tiny I couldn't imagine that he would be such a big 1 year old cruising around like crazy! I love Dax sooo much! This last year has sure shown me what life is really all about!

Happy Birthday!

Dax had his first Birthday yesterday! We celebrated twice so that Grandpa Bowen, who was going out of town, could be there. He got so many neat presents! A fire truck to ride and push, pull back and go cars, clothes, blocks on wires toy(2 actually, one from us and one from Ama and Papa... oops, I guess we were both at IKEA!), Broncos sippy cups, and books! His cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents came to have cupcakes and ice cream, YUM!! It was quite messy. Dax did a lot of playing with and smearing more than actually eating. Earlier in the day he got a sucker and I think we found his favorite treat, but he still shared! (back and forth, back and forth)
