More California

oops, a month later... When we were in California we also spent 2 days at the beach. It was the kids first time and they loved it! The beach we go to is Three Arch Bay in Laguna Niguel. This is obviously why it's called Three Arch Bay: It's the "only true beach" in So Cal, at least that's what we always hear! We are very lucky to get hook ups to go there and we love it! Most of the crew that was with us. Dax took off running towards the beach as soon as he saw it. Once he reached the sand he wouldn't put his foot down on it. He got use to it soon enough and headed straight for the water! We saw someone who we thought for sure must be a celebrity... Oops, sand everywhere! Back to the water which was freezing!!! Shae loved playing in the sand! Dax loved playing in the water! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Disneyland!

We just got back from a great trip to Southern California! We stayed a mile away from Disneyland so we made sure to get a couple of days in there. The kids loved it! We loved being so close so that we could head back to the condo in the middle of the day so the kids could nap and then head right back! Our kids are normally on such a schedule but surprisingly did great without any set schedule. Dax was big enough to ride almost everything and he loved The Matterhorn and laughed most of the way! Talk about getting Shae to sit still... nothing worked better than the Pooh Bear ride, It's a Small World, Dumbo, and the Carousal! She was very focused. Both kids loved the carousal!!! (Good thing there's one in town at the zoo!) We all loved the Buzz ride. I actually beat Brandon's score here! I know, impressive! We e-mailed those pictures home right after the ride.

Animal Lovers!

Dax rode a horse! We are having him take some lessons and yesterday was his first! He did great, especially after Dax went over the side right at the beginning. Luckily his teacher caught him and only had a scare! I walked along side to make sure he stayed on. Shae found a friend while she was waiting with her Daddy. For some reason she needs to kiss dogs right on their mouth, it's gross and so cute! Brandon got to work on his photo skills Dax did so good brushing Stanley and was so excited that he was a white horse! (Well gray, but close enough for him!) We also watched this cute little guy the other day! I think we can call him my nephew. It was so much fun to have such a sweetheart follow me around all day!

Curls

I love this girls curly hair! She's such a wild child that it doesn't stay in place very long so we LOVE it when it's fresh! It also has a tendency to get out of control, and look like this!

Lovin the Bath

I know I've done pictures like this before, but the kids LOVE taking a bath and I can't help capturing it! For some reason they drink the water in any way that they can. Gross, I know!

Trend Alert!

Have you seen this new technique for toes? They're called Minx and are applied with heat to adhere to the nail. I had to try it out from the girls in our salon. There's anything from leopard print, rainbow, snakeskin, crossbones, chrome, plaid, camo, polka-dots, and lots more! I know it's kind of hard to tell from the picture but I went with the fishnet. I'm loving them, what do you think?
