Video of Kids

Just another day in Paradise... from Tia Bowen on Vimeo.

My sister in-law Tia made this video for my birthday. It's seriously the best gift ever! She does videos like this, weddings, engagements, births, and anything else. She has such a great way of seeing things that is different from your typical video montage. You can contact her at www.Tiasbowen.blogspot.com

Shae is one!

Our Shae Bug is 1! She is a fireball and we love her to death! She loves everyone and her smile sucks you right in.
Shae got so many fun presents!
Don't you hate it when you have a great idea in your head and work forever on it, only to not have it turn out like you had hoped. Anyway, here's her cupcakes.
She couldn't wait to grab hers.
"Whoa, that was intense"

Christmas

We had a great Christmas! It's always such a busy time, but always so fun to enjoy family, food, and the excitement in the air.
Shae got her first doll, equipped with stroller, high chair, and play pen!
Dax got a basketball hoop!
The week before, Dax had a visit from Santa at his school. He did great sitting on his lap!
...I killed Brandon's monkey, and I'm quite proud of it!
Brandon and my brother in-laws got these annoying monkeys from his mom. They screamed as they were shot across the room. Brandon couldn't get enough of it and our annoyance just seemed to keep him doing it more. When he least expected it, I grabbed it, ran outside with it, and hurled it off the back porch. The next morning this is what we saw!

These are some of our favorite things we see around our house this time of year:

And the best one of all, with a special design for this year:

C-B-A

Dax loves the alphabet and knows all the letters really well. The other day he was repeating letters like he often does. I thought he was saying them in random order but I soon realized that he was actually repeating them backwards! He said them from O to A perfectly! Since then he has done the whole alphabet backwards! I'm always so amazed by that cute kid!
