Even after the constant hand washing, and Clorox wiping is it possible to keep an infant and mom healthy with a toddler sized sneezing, coughing, booger running around?! I so hope so!

The Story
I guess I should write about how the whole thing went down! I went to the doctor Tuesday morning before work. As I was walking in the building I followed a couple ready to have their baby, her water had broken. Then up at the desk 3 of the doctors were in pending deliveries! I must admit that I was jealous and feeling ready to be in that position! My doctor checked me and I had gone from being dilated to 1 cm both weeks before to 3 cm and 70% effaced. She also stripped my membranes to help me along if I was ready. Then I went to work as I had a huge day ahead of me from 10- 5:30 without much rest time. It was my last scheduled day of work and I was ready to be done! Well through the day I had some contractions, nothing unusual to me the last few weeks, except that there were some that were extra intense. Well at 4:00 just before starting my last couple of clients I had a contraction that was pretty bad. I had another just 20 minutes later and then 15 minutes after that they continued being around 10 minutes or less and were already feeling quite different than the "normal" contractions I'd experienced. I somehow finished work and called Brandon on my way out to say we might be going to the hospital tonight. As I was almost home I called him again and said we were going ASAP! We got there and I was able to get my heaven sent epidural quite quickly. After a couple of hours I had my water broken. The nurse said she would check on me in an hour to see how I was progressing. Well, just a half hour later I was having some crazy intense pressure and could tell something was going on. So I paged the nurse. She checked me and said I was ready! With my previous experience we were still expecting to have a while left to go, but we were wrong! Once the doctor came in and I started pushing, Shae was born soon after at 10:43! She weighed in at just more than a pound of what her big brother weighed! When Brandon and I were on our way to the hospital (and I was in between contractions and could talk) we were guessing it would be an all night affair. We think Shae just wanted to have her own party on the 30th instead of celebrate with everyone else on the 31st. It was quite the day all said and done! Now we're home and everything seems to be going really well!
