Payback!

These are my cute niece and nephew, Annie and Tate. We watched them last night and had so much fun with our Utah gear on!! They were so happy! I couldn't seem to get them to take off the Utah gear either. I guess they just know what team is the best and have to savor it while they can before getting home and being forced into too much blue. Annie and Tate have some big BYU fans as parents (my sister Shelby and her husband Jared). If you look at their blog (Hales), you'll know why this is titled "payback". We love you guys, hopefully your kids will grow up cheering for the red!

Happy Halloween!

Dax was a monkey (as you can see) for Halloween. He was super cute, especially when Papa was making him laugh so hard! We tried trick-or-treating and it really wasn't hugely successful. Dang! I was hoping on banking on some free candy from him this year. Dax has discovered that he likes to go outside for walks, don't even try to help! When he's on his walks he doesn't like to have any deviation from his own designated course. So to try and bring him to someones doorstep he would arch back and scream. (The same way he now does when I take my phone away from him because he's calling everyone or deleting everything. Sorry if you have random calls from us without us on the other end.) So thanks to Ama and Papa, and of course Costco, I was able to get some candy for myself!

Bahamas

We just got back from an awesome trip to the Bahamas. We went to the Grand Bahamas island. It was very fun and relaxing! Dax stayed home with his Grandparents so we could really get a vacation. (Thanks so much Moms and Dads!) We layed around a lot, read, swam, and went scuba diving (which is why we went there)! the beach was so fun because you could walk out forever in the water and it was so warm! this was right off our balcony. We stayed in a town house so our bottom level walked right out to the pool. So we could hang out there if we didn't want to go to the beach. The night life wasn't really happening so I brought along this puzzle that was a real bugger (look at all that blue!). I was quite proud of myself when I finished! We didn't have any buddies to play settlers or hand and foot with! This was our dive boat. We went out 3 days and each day we did 2 dives. The first day wasn't really great but they got better and better. We dove 3 wrecks, swam through coral canyons, and went on a shark dive!!! AAHHHH!!!! I wish I had a picture of the view getting in. The sharks were there swimming around the bottom as we descended. It's like ringing the dinner bell when a boat ties up there. We didn't do a feed, but it's the same place that they do the feeds so the sharks were looking for some food. Normally when we've seen a shark it usually swims away, but these guys were a little excited! There were 13 sharks in the water with us, so there were actually more in front of us here than behind us. They were Carribean reef sharks and they ranged from a little 4 foot guy to some bigger 8 foot ones. They got really close too! We could've touched them as they swam over and around us. As you can see, I kept my hands close to myself. Hello! This dive had to have been the coolest dive we've ever done, even though I was pretty nervous! It was amazing, I'm so fascinated with sharks! It's so good to be home with Dax now! We missed him so much!

I love Edward and Bella!

I finished the books! For those few people who haven't read the Twilight books, you might not know who Edward and Bella are. But, you should find out and read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. I loved them! Sure, there were parts that drove me a little crazy, but I couldn't get enough of it. I'm kind of a nerd too because I would even dream about them. Probably because I would read before bed. Evey free second I could find, I would read. Even if Dax could be entertained by something, I would read. Now that I'm done I'm not sure what to do with myself. I had a free moment the other day and I got excited to read, only to remember that there was nothing left to read. So, until next Fall when the 4th book should come out, I need to find some other good reads. Any suggestions? Not that I'm not busy, I just loved reading some books that I never wanted to put down.

so, whenever anyone decides to start painting their own house, I think I'm becoming an expert in that field. Not that I'll want to help you but I might be able to offer some advice. I just painted Daxs room red. Don't worry it only took 5 coats, but it sure looks cute now! (2 coats, then primer, then 2 more coats!) If I would've primed first I would've saved myself a few hours and trips to the Home Depot. I think I'm done painting for awhile!
